CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
(CSR)
What Is Our Approach To Corporate Social Responsibility?
At Mamujee Products, our business might be to take care of your beauty on the outside, however we believe true beauty goes beyond the surface—it begins with responsibility, compassion, and impact. As a cosmetics manufacturing business, we are committed to giving back to the communities that support us by integrating sustainability into our production process. From eco-conscious manufacturing practices to investing in health and education initiatives, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aim to uplift and empower. We are passionate about creating long-term value not just through our products, but through initiatives that promote well-being, environmental care, and meaningful opportunities for community development.

Our CSR Pillars
Sustainable Manufacturing
Health & Education
Community Empowerment
1. Sustainable Manufacturing
What are we doing to make sure our manufacturing practices are sustainable?

-
Efficient use of water in the manufacturing plant. In order to produce safe & high quality cosmetics, the water at our plant goes through a filtration system after which there is rejected water. Instead of dumping the reject water in the sewage system, we redirect that water to be used in washrooms around the factory. This is because even though the water is not at the standard for cosmetics production, it is still safe to be used for non-drinking purposes. This in turn, helps us in minimizing water usage at our production plant.

-
Recycling of plastic waste. We manufacture our product packaging in-house which leads to plastic waste being produced. We utilize the waste produced and upcycle it in making other products.

-
Use of recyclable packaging. All the packaging articles used in our products can be recycled - labels, sleeves, jars and cardboard carton boxes.

-
Cruelty-free testing and safe ingredients. As part of our responsibility to our environment, none of our products are tested on animals, hence, our products are completely cruelty-free. Furthermore, as part of our social responsibility, our products use ingredients that are safe, with correct and accurate dosing and are all approved by TBS (Tanzania Bureau of Standards).
Health & Education
For this section we will break down what Mamujee Products is doing within the company to promote health & education as well as what we have done to contribute to our community outside the company.
Within the Company:

-
Operational training for the entire team at our company. As part of our commitment to education, the task workers go through the appropriate operational training on how to operate machines and carry out their work in a professional and efficient manner. We also provide specific training for line supervisors as well as training for Heads of Deparments on how to see oversee and manage their specific departments. For our corporate roles, new hires will usually be taken under the wing of senior members and mentored by them wherever possible.

-
Regular safety training and maintenance of a safe working environment. We take the safety of our workers very seriously and for that, we make sure we provide the necessary safety training and gear to all workers involved in manufacturing activities such as how to operate machines safely and many other safety protocols. We also make sure that the environment our workers are working in is safe and our operational facility is approved according to the standards set by the Tanzanian OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Authority) agency.

-
Further training and education. We are proud to say that our team has also been going through additional training for the ISO: 9001certification which is the international standard in QMS (Quality Management Systems). This will help our team to be more skilled in quality management. If you would like to read more about this certification please visit www.iso.org.
